Here is an in-line power supply and preamp designed for use with pre-polarized condenser microphones with a 1/8 "(3.5mm) mini connector.
Just like the Sennheiser MZA 900P, it effectively converts the 48V phantom power from the XLR connector.
For the microphones:
Sennheiser ME 2, ME 3, ME 4 and MKE 2 EW gold.
